Open across mostof the United States
Promotional law rather than gambling licensing means availability is wide. One state is closed everywhere and four more are restricted at some operators.
Adults only. Gold Coins never convert to cash. Free postal entry accepted at every brand listed. Helpline 1-800-522-4700.
Washington
Closed at every brand in our ranking, without exception. Washington treats online gambling far more strictly than any other state and operators make no attempt to work around it. If you are there, none of these accounts will open.
Idaho, Michigan, Montana and Nevada
Restricted rather than uniformly closed. Some operators exclude one or more as internal policy while others accept them. The operator rules page is the only authoritative answer, and our reviews note exclusions wherever the brand publishes them.
The rest of the country
Generally open, subject to age. Most operators set eighteen as the minimum and some set twenty-one regardless of what state law requires, so check before registering rather than afterwards.
How location is checked
Every operator geolocates at sign-up and again at redemption. A virtual private network will not help and will usually cost you the balance, because using one to misrepresent your location breaches the terms at every brand we tested. Accounts closed for that reason are not paid out.
Not legal advice
We review casinos, we do not practise law, and state promotional law moves. Treat this page as a starting point and the operator rules page as the authority. If a brand accepts your registration it has made its own determination about your state.
Check before you register
Every review lists the operator, the floor, the play-through and the payout time we measured.
